Iranian President to Attend UN General Assembly


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will leave Tehran for New York on Sunday, September 22, to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Iranian president is going to deliver an address to the UNGA 79 and hold several meetings with foreign officials on the sidelines of the event.

Pezeshkian is scheduled to address the UNGA meeting on Tuesday, September 24.

He is also planned to hold meetings with Iranian expatriates residing in the US, leaders of religions, media managers, and members of American think tanks.

Pezeshkian will also speak at the Summit of the Future, an event aimed at forging new consensus on meeting the needs of current and future generations.
