Iran’s Qarahgozlou Wins Gold in 2024 Snooker World Cup


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Ali Qarahgozlou of Iran claimed a gold medal in the 2024 Mongolia Snooker World Cup in Ulaanbaatar on Thursday.

The Iranian snooker player defeated Cypriot cueist Michael Georgiou 5-2 in the final match.

Qarahgozlou had defeated Pakistani Awais Muneer 4-2 Hong Kong’s Fung Kwok Wai 5-3 on his way to the final match.

Hong Kong's Fung Kwok Wai, meanwhile, won bronze in the men's category.
