No IRGC Force in Location Targeted by Israel in Beirut: Sources


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – None of the members of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) were present at the location targeted by Israeli regime, informed sources told Tasnim.

The Israeli military has carried out airstrikes against the Lebanese capital Beirut, saying it staged a “targeted strike” against the city.

Speaking to Tasnim, informed sources  said that none of the members of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps were in the target area of ​​the terrorist operation carried out by the Zionist regime of Israel.

The announcement came after some media sources, quoting the Zionist army, claimed that some Iranian military advisers were also present in the area that has been targeted in today's terrorist operation of the Zionist regime in south of Beirut.

Asked by Tasnim about the reports, the informed sources said, “the rumor is false and none of the members of the IRGC were present at the target location of the Zionist regime crime."

Lebanon’s Health Ministry said at least 11 people were killed and some 66 others wounded in the aggression.

According to Lebanon’s official National News Agency (NNA), five children were among the fatalities.

Lebanon’s al-Mayadeen television network said a drone fired several missiles against Beirut’s heavily-populated Dahiyeh suburb.
