LPBank Ninh Binh Beats Saipa in 2024 Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Vietnam’s LPBank Ninh Binh defeated Iran’s Saipa 3-1 (25-16, 25-16, 17-25, 25-19) in the 2024 Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship at the Chartchai Hall on Tuesday.

Captain Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen delivered another remarkable performance, as she made 27 points.

Saipa had previously lost to the Philippines’ Monolith Sky Risers and Japan’s NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki in Pool B.

Pool A consists of Thailand’s Nakhonratchasima Qmin, Hong Kong’s Kwai Tsing, Kuanysh of Kazakhstan and Duc Giang Chemical Club of Vietnam.

All participating teams compete in the eight-day championship to vie for top honor and two slots on offer for the 2024 FIVB Women’s Club World Championship, due to be held in China from December 17 to 22.
