Iran’s Non-Oil Exports Up 6.5% in Last 6 Months


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s export of non-oil commodities in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2024) has reached $25.8 billion, showing a 6.5 percent growth compared to the same period last year.

According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran exported $25.8 billion worth of non-oil goods from March 21 to September 21, 2024, showing a 6.5 percent up compared to the last year’s corresponding period.

The report added that Iran exported a volume of 70 million tons of non-oil goods between March 21 to September 21, 2024, registering a 3.5 percent growth compared to the last year’s corresponding period.

In this period, Iran exported $23.2 billion worth of crude oil and $600 million worth of technical and engineering services overseas, IRICA added.

IRICA put the total worth of products exported from the country (oil- and non-oil products) in the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year at $49.6 billion.

The administration pointed out that $2.5 billion worth of gold ingot was imported into the country between March 21 to September 21, 2024.

Accordingly, $32.6 billion worth of goods was totally imported into the country in this period.
