Tractor Moves Up Top: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Tractor defeated Sepahan 1-0 in Matchweek 6 of the 2024-25 Iran Professional League (IPL) and moved to the top of the table.
In the match, held in Isfahan’s Fooladshahr Stadium, Amir Hossein Hosseinzadeh scored the winner before halftime.
Tractor midfielder Mehdi Torabi was shown a straight red card in the 31st minute.
Tractor moved top with 13 points thanks to a superior goal difference than Sepahan and Malavan.
Elsewhere, Gol Gohar was held to a goalless draw against Havadar in Sirjan, Chadormalu edged Mes 1-0, Malavan defeated Esteghlal Khuzestan 1-0 in Bandar Anzali and Aluminum beat Kheybar 1-0 in Arak.
