Oct. 4 Friday Prayer A Display of Unity: Iranian President

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian described today’s Friday Prayer in Tehran, to be led by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, as a display of Iran’s power and unity.

Speaking to reporters on board the plane on his way from Qatar to Iran, Pezeshkian said he will definitely take part in the Friday Prayer.

“With the presence of the Supreme Leader in the Friday Prayer, God willing, we will show the world a display of power, unity and solidarity,” the president said.

Ayatollah Khamenei is going to lead the Friday Prayer today and deliver an address about the recent developments in Lebanon and Gaza.

There will also be a ceremony to honor Secretary General of Hezbollah Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was martyred in an Israeli attack in Beirut on September 27.

The last time that Ayatollah Khamenei led the Friday Prayer in Tehran was in January 2020 after the martyrdom of Iranian commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani.
