Iran Football Delegation Arrives in Tashkent
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s national football team delegation arrived in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan Tuesday noon.
Team Melli is scheduled to meet Uzbekistan in Bunyodkor Stadium in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier Group A.
Both teams are on six points, with Uzbekistan having defeated DPR Korea and Kyrgyzstan in its opening two matches while Iran was victorious against Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates in Group A.
Team Mwlli will play Qatar on October 15.
