Iran Resolved to Enhance Ties with Neighbors

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A few hours ahead of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi’s trip to Saudi Arabia, the foreign ministry’s spokesperson highlighted Tehran’s determination to promote cooperation with neighbors to ensure regional security and stability.

In a post on his X account on Wednesday, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said Araqchi will be heading to Saudi Arabia today “in furtherance of our diplomatic efforts, in coordination with countries of the region, to stop the Israeli regime's genocide and aggression and to alleviate the pain and suffering of our brothers and sisters in Gaza and Lebanon.”

“Carnage and aggression must be stopped,” he said about the Israeli regime’s onslaught on Gaza and Lebanon.

“Iran is determined to keep consolidating its relations with its neighbors in pursuit of sustainable security and stability as well as economic cooperation that would benefit all nations of the region,” the spokesman underlined.
