Paul Le Guen Linked with Esteghlal
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – French football coach Paul Le Guen has reportedly been kinked with a move to Iran’s Esteghlal football team as head coach.
The Iranian side is looking for a Javad Nekounam’s replacement.
Nekounam parted ways with Esteghlal last week following poor results in Iran league and AFC Champions League Elite.
Paul Le Guen is without club since parting ways with Spanish club Le Havre.
Bulgarian coach Ivaylo Petev, Portuguese Ricardo Sa Pinto and Farhad Majidi are also among the candidates to take charge of the team.
