Iran’s Alipour Wins Bronze at 2024 IFSC Asian Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian climber Reza Alipour claimed a bronze medal in the 2024 IFSC Asian Championships on Sunday.
Wu Peng of the People’s Republic of China claimed a maiden individual men’s speed title in Tai’an.
He won the continental title courtesy of a wildcard after Kazakhstan's Amir Maimuratov false started in their duel.
In the small final, Alipour raced to victory in a time of 4.95s, beating Kazak climber Rishat Khaibullin (5.12s) to the top.
