Severe Response to Enemy on the Table: IRGC General

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh warned the enemies that their slightest mistake will trigger Tehran’s harsh reaction.

In a message on Sunday, General Hajizadeh expressed gratitude for the congratulatory messages from the country’s military and administrative officials on being awarded the 'Medal of Fath (Conquest)' by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

Pointing to the True Promise II operation that the IRGC carried out against Israeli military targets on October 1, the commander said the missile strike was launched upon a collective decision by the Iranian authorities.

He also emphasized that the IRGC forces stand united with other Iranian armed forces with preparedness and vigilance to give a harsh response to any mistake from the enemies, warning that Iran’s reaction will make the adversaries regret their move.

On October 1, Iran responded to the Israeli assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC general Abbas Nilforoushan by launching as many as 200 ballistic missiles toward the Zionist regime’s military and intelligence bases all over the occupied Palestinian territories.

While the Zionist regime has threatened to retaliate, Iranian officials have warned that Tehran’s reciprocal response to any Israeli action will be harsh, proportional and well-calculated.
