Iran Denies Links with Drone Attack on Netanyahu’s Home

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s permanent mission to the United Nations dismissed Tehran’s connection with a recent drone attack on Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private residence near Tel Aviv.

The Iranian UN mission rejected any link between the Islamic Republic and the drone attack on the Israeli prime minister’s house.

A spokesman for the mission in New York told the Wall Street Journal that the “action in question has been carried out by Hezbollah in Lebanon."

Hours after the drone attack that targeted the residence of Netanyahu in the city of Caesarea, he issued a statement in which he said “the attempt by Iran’s proxy, Hezbollah, to assassinate me and my wife today was a grave mistake”.
