Elon Musk Pledges to Give Away $1 Million Daily until Election to Trump Supporters

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Billionaire Elon Musk announced plans to distribute $1 million each day until November’s election to those who back his online petition in support of the US Constitution, beginning with an attendee at a Pennsylvania event.

Musk wasted no time following through on his pledge, handing over a $1 million check to John Dreher, an event attendee, during a rally held to mobilize support for Republican Donald Trump.

"By the way, John had no idea. So anyway, you're welcome," Musk remarked as he presented the check.

The funds exemplify Musk’s use of his considerable wealth to influence the presidential race between Trump and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

Musk's political action group, America PAC, which he created to support Trump, focuses on voter registration and mobilization in key battleground states. However, signs of difficulty in achieving its goals have emerged.

Saturday’s event in Harrisburg marked Musk’s third rally in Pennsylvania over the past three days. During these events, Musk has underscored the importance of early voting and voter turnout.

He warned attendees that a Harris victory would mean "the last election," hinting at the potential end of the US as it currently exists.

Musk also suggested that two assassination attempts against Trump highlight his disruptive impact, which, according to him, Harris cannot replicate. "Assassinating a puppet is worthless," he said, reiterating his earlier social media statement.

The petition Musk promotes reads: "The First and Second Amendments guarantee freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. By signing below, I am pledging my support for the First and Second Amendments."

Event participants were required to sign the petition, providing America PAC with contact information to engage potential voters for Trump’s campaign.

According to federal filings, Musk has contributed at least $75 million to America PAC, positioning it as a critical element in Trump’s pursuit of the White House.

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO has increasingly aligned with Republican causes, emerging this year as a vocal Trump supporter.

In return, Trump has promised to appoint Musk to lead a government efficiency commission if re-elected.
