Pakistan Condemns Israeli Strikes on Iran as Violation of International Law
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Pakistan strongly denounced Israel’s military strikes on Iran, calling them a serious breach of international law and the UN Charter, urging the UN Security Council to intervene to restore peace.
The country’s Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, in a statement reported by Radio Pakistan, described the attacks as a dangerous escalation that undermines efforts toward regional peace and stability.
“These strikes undermine the path to regional peace and stability and constitute a dangerous escalation in an already volatile region,” Baloch said.
She further stated that Israel bears full responsibility for the escalation and expansion of the conflict.
Baloch urged the UN Security Council to take immediate steps to halt Israel’s “recklessness in the region and its criminal behavior”.
“The international community must also play its role in restoring regional peace and security,” she added.
