Saman Ghoddos to Be Absent in Match against Kyrgyzstan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national football team winger Saman Ghoddos will miss the match against Kyrgyzstan.
Team Melli will travel to Bishkek to meet Kyrgyzstan team in Group A of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Saturday.
The 31-year-old player is suffering a hamstring injury and will travel to Dubai to follow up his treatment in Kalba.
Iran will most likely qualify for the 2026 World Cup if it emerges victorious over Kyrgyzstan.
