TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An Iranian court ruled that the US government should pay $48,860 million in compensation to families of the soldiers who have been martyred in defending the Holy Shrines against the terrorist groups.
A total of 700 plaintiffs, including the families of the martyrs who have lost their lives in the battle against the US-sponsored terrorist and Takfiri groups in defense of the holy Shiite shrines, had lodged a complaint against the US government at the 55th division of the court of Tehran on international legal lawsuits.
The court’s judge announced his verdict on Saturday, ruling that the US government –the sponsor of the terrorist groups- should pay a total of $48.86 billion in compensation to the families of the martyrs.
