Kyrgyzstan Coach Lisitsyn Disappointed with Loss against Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) — Kyrgyzstan head coach Maksim Lisitsyn is sad about his team's 3-2 loss against Iran in Group A of the AFC Asian Qualifiers— Road to 26.
Having seen his side battle courageously to restore parity, Lisitsyn was understandably disappointed with the result.
“We are sad that we couldn’t get something from this game,” said Lisitsyn. “We created enough chances in the game but it was not enough to get the right result.
“Many thanks to our fans for being everywhere and always, especially at home supporting us very well.
“We are always grateful and this is in fact a very important factor for motivation, and when preparing for home games, the players are particularly tuned for the matches,” Lisitsyn concluded.
Matchday Seven in March 2025 will see Iran face UAE while Kyrgyzstan will take on Uzbekistan.
