Iran Futsal to Continue Cooperating with Vahid Shamsaei
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iran Football Federation will continue cooperating with futsal head coach Vahid Shamsaei.
The Federation has reached an agreement with the coach to extend his contract one more year.
The futsal team will likely participate in the 2025 CAFA, slated for May.
Under Shamsaei’s leadership, Iran futsal lost to Morocco 4-3 in the Round of 16 of the 2024 Futsal World Cup.
Shamsaei took over as head coach in February 2021, succeeding Mohammad Nazemolsharieh.
