Israel Kills 42 Across Gaza
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Medical sources in Gaza reported that at least 42 people were killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip as bombing intensifies and tanks advance into areas of the territory’s north and south.
The Israeli regime’s assault on Gaza has continued overnight, including three separate attacks in northern Gaza City which have killed a combined 10 people, including women and children.
Israeli fighter jets have also bombed a home in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing at least five people, Al Jazeera reported.
Israel’s Minister of Housing and Construction Yitzchak Goldknopf has said “Jewish settlement” in Gaza is an appropriate response to the October 7 attack and the International Criminal Court arrest warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
The EU’s foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell has called out the rise of extremism in Israel, where “the colonization of the mind of the people is the most dangerous thing”.
The Israeli military has informed the family of a Palestinian detainee they will be demolishing their home in the occupied West Bank town of Bal’a, east of Tulkarem.
The United Nations has warned again that “famine is imminent” in Gaza, where more than two million people remain trapped with little food and no access to safe drinking water.
Israel’s genocide in Gaza has killed at least 44,330 Palestinians and wounded 104,933 since October 7, 2023.
