Iran, EU3 Arrange to Continue Talks: Diplomat

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian deputy foreign minister for legal and international affairs unveiled plans for the continuation of diplomatic talks between Tehran and the European troika following a round of negotiations in Geneva.

In a post on his X account on Friday, Kazem Gharibabadi said the Iranian diplomats have held “another round of candid discussions” with political directors from France, the UK and Germany in Geneva.

“We discussed and took stock of recent bilateral, regional and international developments, particularly nuclear and sanctions lifting issues,” he said.

“We are firmly committed to pursue the interests of our people, and our preference is the path of dialogue and engagement,” Gharibabadi noted.

“It was agreed to continue diplomatic dialogue in near future,” the Iranian deputy minister said.
