Esteghlal, Mes Match Canceled Due to Air Pollution
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A match between Esteghlal and Mes in the Iran Hazfi Cup has been canceled due to air pollution.
The match was scheduled to be held on Wednesday in Tehran’s Shahr-e Qods Stadium but the Iranian Football Organization announced that the match has been postponed.
Severe air pollution has already forced authorities to shut schools in Iran’s capital.
The ongoing air pollution crisis has further highlighted the need for robust long-term measures to address environmental issues in Iran’s capital.
