Iranian Weightlifter Wins Bronze in World Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Ali Alipour of Iran claimed a bronze medal in the 2024 IWF World Championships in Bahrain on Thursday.
He finished in the third place with 387 kg (173 kg+214 kg) in the 96 kg weight class.
Kazakhstan's Nurgissa Adiletuly grabbed gold after lifting 388 kg (174 kg+214 kg) in total.
Revaz Davitadze of Georgia stood on the second place after lifting 387 kg (177 kg+210 kg).
The competition is being held in Bahrain.
