Iranian Women’s Team Drops in FIFA Ranking
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The women’s national football team of Iran dropped three spots in the FIFA ranking released on Friday.
Team Melli Banovan dropped to the 67th place in the new ranking.
Japan continued to be the highest-ranked side in Asia, while the US national team ended the year at the top of the ranking.
While the biggest climber in this round of ranking was Estonia, which moved up by eight positions, Laos suffered the biggest drop, falling down 16 places.
The next ranking will be published on March 6, 2025.
