No Real Impulses for Organization of Putin-Trump Meeting So Far: Kremlin Spokesman

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – There are currently no plans to hold an in-person meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President-elect Donald Trump, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"So far, there have been no real impulses," he told TASS, answering a question if there is a possibility for a meeting before Trump’s inauguration or if there have been no specifics or causes for in-person contacts.

Previously, Trump said that he anticipates an opportunity to have a meeting on settlement of the Ukrainian conflict with Putin.

On December 19, Putin said during the press conference that he is ready for a conversation with Trump and is ready to meet with him at any moment.
