Israel Kills 22 Across Gaza in One Day as Death Toll Surpasses 46,000
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - At least 22 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since dawn on Thursday.
The Israeli forces have killed an estimated 490 Palestinians in the first nine days of 2025, Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported from the war-torn enclave where people face a daily “battle for survival”.
The Palestinian Media Center has reported injuries after shelling by the Israeli military in the area around al-Shafi’i Mosque, west of Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
Israeli military vehicles fired on the eastern areas of the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of northern Gaza City.
Civil defense crews in Khan Younis reported three people were wounded in an Israeli drone strike on civilians west of the city.
One person was killed and a number injured after an Israeli aircraft bombed civilians in the Hamad area of Khan Younis.
Israeli soldiers filmed themselves cheering the demolition of a house in Beit Hanoon.
Meanwhile, Amnesty International has condemned the US House of Representatives for voting to impose sanctions on International Criminal Court (ICC) officials over issuing war crimes arrest warrants for Israeli leaders.
The Israeli regime’s genocide in Gaza has killed at least 46,006 Palestinians and wounded 109,378 since October 7, 2023.
