Iran Football Matches Postponed due to Air Pollution
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Two Iran Professional League (IPL) football matches have been postponed due to poor air quality conditions in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
The country's football association said Esteghlal of Tehran and Siah Jamegan and Naft Tehran and Tractor Sazi matches, scheduled for Sunday, have been cancelled.
Both matches will be held on Tuesday.
Air pollution forced Iranian authorities to shut schools in the capital Tehran last week.
