Explosions, Gunfire As Israeli Forces Conduct Raids across Occupied West Bank

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Late-night and early-morning raids unfolded across multiple locations in the occupied West Bank, with notable incidents in Jenin, a recurrent flashpoint for such actions.

The ongoing clashes have intensified in the occupied West Bank, with explosive devices being deployed against Israeli army members and their equipment, as well as audible explosions and sustained gunfire.

Israeli forces moved into the town of Biddu, northwest of Jerusalem al-Quds, engaging in confrontations. Similar tensions erupted in Ni’lin, west of Ramallah, and Silat al-Dhahr, a town southwest of Jenin.

These events coincide with Israel's nightly raids in the occupied West Bank, escalating alongside the ongoing conflict in Gaza, where both military and settler violence has surged.

Confrontations in Biddu and Ni’lin involved Palestinian fighters targeting Israeli army vehicles in Ramallah, as reported by Al Jazeera’s journalist in el-Bireh’s al-Masaief area. Additionally, the regime's army conducted raids in el-Bireh city after a Palestinian allegedly opened fire at Biet El settlement.

In Nablus, Israeli forces withdrew after an overnight arrest campaign, which included the detention of an elderly man.

Meanwhile, in Al-Quds, the Israeli regime's army stormed homes and assaulted residents in the town of Anata.

The situation in the occupied West Bank remains tense as Israeli forces continue their operations against Palestinians.
