Israeli ‘Agent’ Shot Dead in Alexandria

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Reports indicate that an individual posing as a businessman and believed to be an "Israeli agent" was fatally shot by unidentified assailants in the Egyptian port city of Alexandria.

The Israeli broadcasting agency (KAN) confirmed the death of the Israeli businessman in Alexandria on Tuesday.

The victim, identified as Ziv Kipper, purportedly served as the CEO of OK Group LLC, a company specializing in exporting frozen fruits and vegetables. Headquartered in Alexandria, the company maintains additional offices in Israel and Ukraine.

According to the Israeli foreign ministry, Kipper also held Canadian citizenship and operated a business in Egypt.

Reports from the Israeli news website Ynet suggest that Kipper entered Egypt using a Canadian passport.

A group known as the Vanguards of Liberation - the group of martyr Mohammad Salah - has claimed responsibility for Kipper's killing in a statement circulated on social media platforms.

The group said that Kipper was a "criminal Israeli agent" using his business as a cover for espionage activities, including gathering intelligence and recruiting locals to work for the Israeli Mossad.

In its statement, the group asserted that Kipper's death marks a stride in the Egyptian people's struggle against the Zionist enemy.

Furthermore, the group declared that its knowledge regarding Kipper is based on precise intelligence gathering and hinted at revealing more information in due course.

Mohammad Salah, aged 23, gained attention last year for killing three Israeli occupation troops after crossing into occupied Palestinian territories in what was described as a heroic operation.
