FIFA Website Confirms Iran, Trinidad andTobago Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The date for the friendly match between Iran and Trinidad and Tobago has been set for June 8.
FIFA's website has confirmed that the Iranian football team will face Trinidad and Tobago in a friendly international match on June 8 in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
Iran warm-up match against Guinea, is scheduled for March 5, has already been confirmed by the International Football Federation.
Trinidad and Tobago will play powerhouse Argentina in a friendly on June 4.
Iran is in Group F of the 2014 World Cup along with Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Nigeria.
Carlos Queiroz’s men will play Nigeria on June 16 in Curitiba.
Iran is currently the No.1 ranked team in Asia and 34th in world rankings, while Trinidad and Tobago is 78th in world.
