Iran Defeats Brazil in FIVB World League
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian national volleyball team made a huge victory against Brazil in Pool A of the 2014 FIVB World League on Saturday.
The Iranian team beat Brazil 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-22) in the third week of the FIVB World League in Sao Paulo.
Iran had lost its first game against Brazil 3-2 (25-23, 28-30, 26-28, 25-23, 15-13) on Friday.
Shahram Mahmoudi led Iran with 18 points, while De Souza Wallace was Brazil’s top scorer with 24 points.
Italy also continued with its excellent form by a 3-1 victory over Poland in Bari, extending its winning streak to five wins in the pool.
