World Cup 2014: Ghana 2–2 Germany
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Germany football team drew 2-2 with Ghana on Saturday night in a thrilling World Cup Group G clash in Brazil's Fortaleza.
Mario Gotze gave Germany the lead in the 51st minute with a header.
But Ghana's Andre Ayew equalized the match with a header three minutes later.
Asamoah Gyan then shot Ghana ahead in the 63rd minute.
And Miroslav Klose, who had just come on as a substitute, scored the equalizer in the 71st minute.
The 34-year-old Lazio striker equalled Brazilian legend Ronaldo's record of 15 World Cup goals.
"I'm awfully happy for Klose - he was on the pitch for two minutes and scored," said German coach Joachim Low. "He's had a difficult season, he has been injured."
"But it's sensational for me to have this kind of player on the bench knowing they can make a decisive move," he added.
