Czech Republic’s Parliamentary Delegation Due in Tehran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A parliamentary delegation from the Czech Republic will pay a visit to Iran this weekend.
Headed by Vice-Speaker of the Czech Republic’s National Assembly, the delegation will arrive in Tehran on Sunday, the Iranian parliament news agency (ICANA) reported on Friday.
During its meeting with the Iranian lawmakers and officials, the Czech parliamentary delegation is scheduled to discuss bilateral issues.
European countries have sought to expand relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran recently, especially after Tehran and the Group 5+1 (the five permanent UN Security Council members plus Germany) in November last year signed an interim deal, known as Geneva Agreement, on Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.
