AFC Futsal Club Championship: Iran’s Dabiri Crushes Al Qadsia
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran's Dabiri of Tabriz defeated Al Qadsia of Kuwait 7-2 in Day 2 of the AFC Futsal Club Championship at the Sichuan Football Stadium in Chengdu, China on Tuesday.
The Iranian representative, who opened the competition with a 5-1 victory over Bank of Beirut SC in the Group B, will face title-holder Chonburi Blue Wave of Thailand on Wednesday.
Group A consists of Shenzhen Nanling of China, Japanese Nagoya Oceans, Lokomotiv Tashkent of Uzbekistan and Australian Vic Vipers.
The Iranian teams Foolad Mahan and Giti Pasand Isfahan have won two titles in the competitions in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
