Kenya Parliamentary Delegation Due in Iran in Coming Days
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - A parliamentary delegation from Kenya is scheduled to pay a visit to Iran in the next coming days.
The Kenyan delegation, to be led by chairman of the foreign policy commission of the African country’s parliament, will arrive in Iran on September 20.
The visit will take place at the invitation of Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi.
Members of the Irish delegation are scheduled to meet Boroujerdi and a number of Iranian officials.
Tehran has prioritized promotion of its economic and political ties with the African states and the country is now considered as one of the African Union's strategic partners.
