Iran's Discus Thrower Mokhtari Seizes Gold in Incheon

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Discus thrower Alireza Mokhtari clinched a gold medal in the men’s F51/52/53 in the 2014 Asian Para Games on Sunday.

The thrower won the gold medal with a throw of 21:86 meters.

Iran has already won three gold medals in the games.

Vahid Keshtkar claimed a gold medal in the men's 400 m freestyle S13.

Erfan Hosseini won the gold medal in the men's javelin throw F12–13.

Sareh Javanmardi earned the gold medal in the Mixed 50 meter pistol SH1.

The games in Incheon feature around 5,000 athletes competing across 23 sports.
