Khalatbari Scores Hat-trick as Sepahan Moves Top
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Sepahan of Isfahan football team moved top of the Iran Professional League (IPL) table following a 4-1 victory over Gostaresh on Wednesday.
Mohammad Reza Khalatbari found the back of the net in the first minute and made it 2-0 in the 12th minute from set pieces.
Three minutes into the second half, Mohammad Hossein Moradmand scored for Sepahan and Khalatbari was on target once again in the 73rd minute from the penalty spot.
Mohsen Bayatinia pulled a goal back in the 74th minute.
Also, Saba and Malavan match finished 1-1 and Saipa was held by Paykan 1-1.
Sepahan provisionally moved top of the table with 33 points.
Naft and Tractor Sazi are second and third with 30 and 28 points respectively.
