Alireza Faghani to Officiate Japan-UAE Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Alireza Faghani will officiate Japan and the UAE match in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup quarter-final.
The international referee will be assisted by his compatriots Reza Sokhandan and Mohammad Reza Abolfazli in the match, which will be held on Friday.
Nawaf shukralla will be the fourth official.
The Iranian trio has already officiated China and Saudi Arabia match in Group B, Kuwait against South Korea and Kuwait with Oman both in Group A and Japan and Iraq match in Group D.
The 36-year-old referee was named as the fourth referee for the opening match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, between Brazil and Croatia.
Faghani has also officiated 2014 AFC Champions League first leg match between Al-Hilal and Western Sydney Wanderers.
