Iran’s Air Defense Keeping Eye on Future Threats: Commander
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Commander of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmaeili on Monday hailed the country’s air defense, saying that Iran values its security and power.
“(Iran’s) Air defense system is at a good point … and we are keeping a wary eye on future threats based on what we already have,” General Esmaeili said on the sidelines of a ceremony in Tehran.
“We put value on our security and power, and this is how we have managed to stand against Arrogance … 36 years after the Revolution,” he stressed.
General Esmaeili went on to say that achieving modern and advanced equipment is a prerequisite to resistance against arrogant powers.
In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in its defense sector and has attained self-sufficiency in producing essential military equipment and systems.
As part of these accomplishments, Iran’s aerial defense has been able to build a big part of its equipment and arsenal by its own experts.
