Iran Finishes 8th in Fencing World Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran sabre team came eighth in the Fencing World Cup held in Warsaw, Poland on Sunday.
Iran defeated Chile 45-20 in the Round of 32.
The Iranian team beat USA 45-39 in Round of 16 but lost to Italy 45-39 in the quarter-final.
France won the title after defeating Korea 45-43.
Bronze medal went to Russia fencing team.
