Iran’s Saveh Shemshaki Claims Gold in Asian Alpine Ski Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Hossein Saveh Shemshaki of Iran claimed a gold medal in the men’s slalom of the 24th Asian Alpine Ski Championship in South Korea on Wednesday.
Saveh Shemshaki came first, with a time of 1:32.81 minutes.
South Korean Dong-Cheul Kim snatched the silver medal, clocking 1:34.14.
Chang-hyun Choi also from South Korea won the bronze medal with 1:35.54 minutes.
Saveh Shemshaki has already seized a silver medal in giant slalom of the competition on Tuesday.
The 24th Asian Alpine Ski Championship got underway in Yongpyong, South Korea from March 3.
