President Rouhani Felicitates Nigerian Counterpart on New Post
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday congratulated his Nigerian counterpart Muhammadu Buhari on starting his career as new President of the African country.
In a message to Buhari, Rouhani expressed the hope that relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Nigeria would expand in all areas.
He also wished health and success for government and nation of Nigeria.
Three decades after seizing power in a military coup, Muhammadu Buhari became the first Nigerian to oust a president through the ballot box, putting him in charge of Africa's biggest economy.
