Iran Win Two Gold Medals in Asian Wrestling Championship Day One

Freestyle wrestler Masoud Esmaeilpoor defeated Tomotsugu Ishida from Japan in the 57kg and won a gold medal.

In the 86kg, Alireza Karimi snatched a gold medal after defeating Japanese Atsushi Matsumoto.

Iran's Younes Sarmasti won the bronze medal in the 57kg beating Nodirjon Safarov from Uzbekistan.

In the 125kg, Komeil Ghasemi claimed a silver after being defeated by Aiaal Lazarev from Kyrgyzstan in the final match.
