We Know Iran Volleyball Well, Poland coach Antiga Says
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Poland's national volleyball team head coach Stephane Antiga said they know Iran very well since two teams have played each other five times last year.
“Last year, we played five matches against Iran and it was very difficult every time. We know each other very well, and we know how difficult games against Iran are,” Antiga said in the pre-match news conference.
“We worked well and we started good, because we won two times against Russia, but we know that anything can happen. I'm sure that we will see a great volleyball spectacle."
“We know that games here in Poland are very important. We have to try to win to qualify for the Final Six. I want to repeat that if we qualify, it's something important, and we want to win, but it's not our main goal for the season," the Polish coach stated.
“On the other hand, we have to work and improve things, so we have to keep the balance between result and preparation,” he concluded.
