2 Killed, 5 Wounded in Shooting in Western New York
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Two people have been killed and five others wounded in a drive-by shooting in western New York, in the US, officials said.
It happened late Wednesday night in Rochester. Officials have not yet released the names of the victims or the conditions of the injured, The Associated Press reported on Thursday.
A large crowd gathered in the early morning hours Thursday near the scene of the shooting. Emotions ran high as family and friends of the victims consoled each other.
Rochester Police Chief Michael Ciminelli urged anyone in the community with information about the shooting to come forward. He said the investigation is a top priority.
