Moscow Int’l Book Fair to Display Works by Iranian Painters (+Photos)


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s pavilion in the upcoming Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF), due to begin on September 2, will exhibit the works of 68 prominent Iranian book illustrators.

The works selected to be displayed are among the best painted by Iranian artists in recent years.

Some of the paintings are as follows.

In this edition of MIBF, which will run from September  2 to 7, Iran is the guest of honor with a free area of 300 square meters dedicated to Iranian cultural bodies present in the fair to hold workshops on Persian calligraphy, miniature, and music.

Iran’s Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance for Cultural Affairs Seyed Abbas Salehi is due to visit the Russian capital to attend the book fair.

The Moscow International Book Fair was established in 1977 and is an official member of the International Organization of Book Publishers.
