Iran Loses to China at FIVB U-21 World Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran was defeated against China in the first day of the FIVB Volleyball U-21 World Championship on Saturday.
The Iranian team lost to China 3-1 (25-21, 25-14, 19-25, 25-21) in Mexicali, Mexico.
China was supported by the Chinese residents of Mexicali.
Libin Liu scored 19 points for China, while Guanhghui Yu tallied 12.
For Iran, Salim and Amin Esmaeilnezhad scored 9 apiece.
The Iranian team has been against China, Brazil and Cuba in Pool C.
The 2015 FIVB Volleyball Men’s U-21 World Championship is being held in Tijuana and Mexicali, Mexico on September 11-20.
