Hamas Capture Israeli Drone

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An Israeli drone has been captured by Hamas forces, counted as the second UAV seized by the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement since July.

Fighters from Islamic resistance movement said they have seized an Israeli drone.

The drone fell in the city of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, Sputnik News cited Israeli media as saying on Saturday.

Hamas forces have in the past also captured a number of Israeli intelligence drones to get data on the Gaza Strip.

The aircraft is the second seized by the Islamic movement in two months. In late July, the Palestinian movement rebuilt an Israeli drone for Hamas use after it fell in the northern Gaza Strip.

Palestinians seek the recognition of their independent state on territories occupied by Israel after the 1967 Six-Day War, including the Gaza Strip, controlled by Hamas, and the West Bank.
