15th International Electricity Expo Kicks Off in Tehran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The 15th International Electricity Exhibition (IEE) kicked off on Sunday in the Iranian capital, Tehran, with over 200 foreign participants from around the world in attendance.
Representatives from several countries including South Korea, Turkey, China, Germany, Spain, Slovenia, Sweden, Taiwan, Czech Republic, Canada, Ukraine, Belgium, Finland and Holland have taken part in the event which is being held in Tehran's Permanent International Fairgrounds.
Also, 341 domestic firms are partaking in the exhibition which gives the Iranian and foreign exhibitors the opportunity to widen their marketing networks.
The international exhibition showcases numerous electrical equipment such as power, electronics, electrical substations, power distribution and control, process control products, electricity measuring, automation systems and equipment, lighting systems, maintenance and services as well as renewable and new energies.
Iran ranks the first in the Middle East in terms of electricity generation and the country is the 15th largest electricity producer in the world.
