Alireza Faghani to Referee FIFA Club World Cup Final
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Alireza Faghani is to referee Sunday's showpiece event between River Plate-Barcelona in the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2015.
The match will be held on Sunday at the International Stadium Yokohama.
Faghani has also officiated the match between Mexico’s America and Congo’s TP Mazembe in the event.
Faghani, whose name has been on the international list since 2008, was appointed as the AFC Asian Cup final where host Australia defeated South Korea 2-1.
The 2015 FIFA Club World Cup is the 12th edition of the competition, a FIFA-organized international club football tournament between the champion clubs from each of the six continental confederations, as well as the national league champion from the host country.
